el archivo que indicas sirve para instalar el mod por medio del automod pero bueno si deseas puedes hacerlo por ese medio, en mi caso yo prefiero hacerlo todo manualmente

lo de la creacion de los 2 modulos lo dice aqui como te dije antes en el primer parrafo:

Finally enter your ACP and go to the "System" tab and under module management select "Administration Control Panel" and install the two Calendar modules: "Calendar Settings" and
"Manage Event Calendar Types". Jump over to the Permissions tab and give yourself permission to administrate the calendar (if you skip this step you won't have permission to access the new calendar modules in the ACP).
