Hola de nuevo

He añadido unas lineas en el archivo overall_footer.html, lo he subido con FileZilla, he ido a mi foro-->ACP-->estilos-->plantillas-->arrow-->actualizar

Me hace la pregunta de confirmacion, le digo que si y me aparece el siguiente error:

No puedo actualizar la plantilla y me urge bastante.

Usa Pastebin para copiar y pegar el contenido de ese archivo que intentas actualizar, el overall_footer.html, aunque creo que deberías editarlo y guardarlo con codificación UTF-8 SIN BOM, porque me huelo que el problema son los caracteres no reconocidos, que en el texto de tu primer mensaje aparecen como signos de interrogación con fondo negro.

Archivo > Guardar Como

debajo del nombre del archivo, aparece el tipo de archivo o Formato en que lo quieres guardar... allí eliges UTF8.

subelo e intenta actualizar de nuevo.

No me aparece esa opcion

Quizá es que el editor que usas para modificar o leer ese archivo no ofrece esa opción. Inténtalo instalando y usando el Notepad++.

Recuerda, abres el archivo y vas a FORMATO --> Codificar en UTF-8 SIN BOM

Para cualquier windows el instalador es npp.version-que-sea.Installer.exe

Descargue el npp.5.1.1.Installer.exe

Guarde en formato UTF-8 SIN BOM

Lo he subido de nuevo con FileZilla

ACP-->Estilos-->Plantillas-->Actualizar-->Sí

Y sigue apareciendo el mismo error

Intenta quitando o modificando cualquier carácter no latino en el texto, como eñes, tildes, y similar.

Eran las tildes , las quité y ahora actualizó perfectamente.

Puedes cerrar el post

El problema no son las tildes, sino cómo interpreta los caracteres no-latinos tu foro. Seguramente alguna tabla que recibe esa información no acepta esos caracteres. Posiblemente porque no estará codificada en UTF-8.

Y eso ¿se puede solucionar?
