Duda En Instalación De Gender Mod 1.0.5

Pues bién, he leido los tutos y tal y he leido la info de instalación. El archivo comprimido trae este orden de archivos: (Tened en cuenta que lo he puesto en forma de árbol, espero que lo entendais)

Pues bién, he leido por el instal.txt que si no sabe uno modificar la base de datos que la haría el db_update.php, copiandolo a la carpeta de instalación. Pero... a qué carpeta de instalación? De eso no dice nada, yo he copiado sólo el db_update.php al raiz del foro, pero al ejecutarla me da este error:

O sea, que no están los tutos tan completitos, o este tio (el que hace el mod, que encima está en inglés y no hay quién se entere XP) no lo ha explicado todo... xP

Total, haber si alguien me puede ayudar ooootra vez... y gracias tios...

Por cierto, os pediria por favor que no os registrarais en el foro, y si alguien quiere hacerlo para alguna prueba o algo que me lo comunique. Gracias.

Hola.. seguramente se refiere a que ese archivo que actualiza la BD, lo coloques en la carpeta /install/ (no la debes tener, creas esa carpeta y pones el archivo alli).
Prueba y nos dices.

Pues tienes razón, he editado el db_update.php y ponía esto dentro:

* - Installation:
* 1) Make backups of your database before proceeding!
* 2) Create a subdirectory named "install" (without quotes) in your phpBB installation.
* 3) Save this file as "db_update.php" and upload to your newly created install directory.
* 4) Now, open the script using your browser of choice as in the following example:
* http://www.example.com/forums/install/db_update.php
* ...and follow instructions.
* 5) Once, your DB has been updated, remove the install directory and this file.
*
* - Notes:
* - This script can only be run by board administrators.
* - First, a confirmation panel will show all SQL statements.
* - Your database will only be updated once the confirmation panel has been confirmed.

Pero lo hago y me sale este error de nuevo:

A lo que todo esto me sale una pregunta... qué pinta ahí esto (mirar lo que está subrayado): /web/htdocs/www.pubdibe.com/home/foro/install/db_update.php

Y otra duda más, si yo tengo puesto el estilo RC8grey, debería modificar los archivos que aquí abajo dice, pero tb debería de editar los archivos del mod apra decirle que ha de instalar el mod en ese estilo?

Amigo, por la lista de archivos que leo, ese MOD es para phpBB2, no para phpBB3 (son distintos, no puedes instalar uno de phpBB2 en 3, no va a funcionar).

Sí, es cierto, ya me pillé el 1.0.1 para phpbb3 XP lo siento ejejeje

Que algún moderador lo cierre que creo uno nuevo con lo que quiero hacer con el mod nuevo XP
